As much as I enjoy using my Denon Prime 4 and Prime Go, there’s something lovely about using “small batch” hardware and software that makes me smile. In this case, Gabor Szanto’s #Tau for iOS, and an old #FaderFox DJ2 controller. They’re both clearly made with passion and pride. #DJ #DiscJockey #Junglist
@JoshMurray that faderfox controller is so sweet!
@flutttr Thanks! I used to have a DJ44 which was sooooo lovely, but stupidly sold it when I got the Denon stuff. This is just right for some deskside mixing :)
@JoshMurray I just looked it up because I've never heard of the DJ44. That does look pretty nice. What do the buttons on the faderfox controllers feel like? I can never tell from the photos
@flutttr “industrial” 🤣
@JoshMurray haha! That sounds like a good thing. Currently, my only DJ setup (not including bitwig/ableton stuff) is a Pioneer XDJ-RX3 but I really don't like the fact that the library format is not open and that I have to use windows to run rejordbox. Currently looking into making a setup for mixxx and faderfox has some cool stuff
