くりす@KuudereKun as someone who has read a lot of shoujo and played many otome games including every single angelique game, i can tell you these anime/manga/light novels are parodying something they made up. it’s like they combined the romantic rival, ojousama, and evil sexy villain lady from various JRPGs/shonen manga.
the shows might be fun on their own, but i dont watch them because not only do i dislike parodies, i especially dislike a parody that doesnt know what theyre talking about. (at this point they’re probably parodying each other though? just a guess)
