The air is full of the smell of burning.

Updated VIC emergency app now says 18 units headed to our #bushfire.

21 units responding.

Okay.

We’re dressed & outside now*. Just in case.

I have my asthma inhaler & we both have masks nearby.

Not much wind about thankfully.

* yes, I can move with my knee looking like a cantaloupe. My walking stick is at my side.

But seriously we left their gate open.

Though they don’t like leaving their paddock, I’m sure they’d leg it if the fire was close.

They won’t fit in our Subaru. I’m thinking we might get a van next year.
