Pretty sure I’ve got an ear infection now. So I looked for a minute clinic appointment. There are a bunch around us and normally plenty of appointments available. Just one, so I snagged it. Whew!
CVS is the place to be tonight. Don’t think I’ve ever seen this sleepy pharmacy so busy. Two exam rooms going and like six folks waiting.
Conversation with checkin nurse.
Her: Mild winter.
Me: Yeah, I think we’re about done with “wintery winters” here.
H: It used to snow so much. I miss the snow. **I don’t believe in global warming** BUT SOMETHING’S going on… We used to get so much snow!
Me: 😐
Arthur Rosa@User47 “I don't believe in [plausible explanation for current circumstances]” seems to be the frame of mind that so many people have now.
