@rowyn I don't always have time to read these and I don't see all of them so I have so little context for the snippets I do read, but I just want to say that 1. I always love it when Umbral appears even though I don't really know who they are and 2. I GASPED in outrage at Cassie being manipulated into handing over a true name.

(Is Umbral one of the location NPCs?)

@unpopulardaffodil Yep! Umbral is the Dark Ruler of the Underlands; you get an encounter with them when you pull a king in Hero's Hollow. In the first instance of the prompt (which I pulled in the first week) they invite you to dinner and one of the possible reasons is "for a date?" so I've played them as a romantic interest ever since. 😂
