@fpgahero that was the heart of the systems we used in my embedded hardware design course senior year of college. Altera DE2.

Oh wait, that was the Cyclone II 🫠

@smartperson Cool, the #Altera Cyclone II is a similar #FPGA, but I think it has smaller block memories (M4K vs M9K for Cyclone IV E).

Altera did not develop its smallest FPGA chips for a long time. Even the Cyclone 10 LP is really just a renamed Cyclone IV E. I'm looking forward to the new #Agilex 3. 🚀
