@puppygirlhornypost2 soft mutes are pretty useless for me since they don't actually tell you what it's muting. the "something is being muted" thing is even more enticing to click than a cw is

saying "so-and-so made a post which contained [filter items]" and blurs the filter-items out, and unblurs them if you deliberately move the mouse over the blurred text
@dakkar @[email protected] i prefer the older idea of having the filter do a content warning you have to open.
