Amazon faces holiday strike after refusing to bargain with warehouse workers

Amazon downplaying what workers declared is “largest strike” ever in the US.

@arstechnica "In response, an Amazon spokesperson claimed to Reuters that the Teamsters have "intentionally misled the public" and allegedly "threatened, intimidated, and attempted to coerce" other workers into joining the fight."

I think that's not what the Teamsters did, but Amazon itself.

..."unions represent only about 1 percent of the workforce of Amazon"

So they already factored in that the intimidation of the workers worked and only a small number joined the unions.

Disgusting.
