We live in the countryside and get mice in the brick outbuilding in our garden. Completely inevitable and harmless, but my wife insists I use humane traps to "catch the mouse", so I use the traps to feed them fruit and peanuts and then let them out every morning. They love it.

@fesshole

Well... I _think_ that's a pet. <3

@fesshole I knew I had a house mouse and worried about him meeting one of my cats. One day he got nailed but I screamed and she let him go. He sat on a shelf obviously rattled panting shaking and mussed up but not hurt.

I picked up an empty box and began walking towards him very slowly talking softly, "ok here is the plan. You jump in this box and I will take you outside away from the monsters."

To my total shock he agreed with my plan and jumped right into the box.

Apparently I speak Mouse.
