The time has come: I'm finally giving up Duolingo. It keeps adding new gamification tweaks to incentivise spending more time using it, includes increasingly nonsensical sentences, and tries to strong-arm me into downloading a new app. I particularly hate that now you can't stay in the same league for more than a week, either getting promoted or demoted. In short, it's not fun anymore! So I'm quitting now that I've achieved a 1500 day streak. Dear owl, we had some good times. 안녕히 계세요
