Tiny bit of #retrocomputing for me today, although not as retro as normal. Also, more #retrogaming than normal!

I invested a whole £16 in an IPS screen for my #PSP1000. It's a big improvement over the original. It's still a little ghosty, but nowhere near as bad as the original. And it's much crisper. All in all, if you're happy with a tiny bit of soldering to bridge two tiny pads, it's a worthwhile upgrade.

@thelastpsion or you could do it properly and just buy a used Vita with that *lush* OLED screen 😎😍

They’ll take my Vita away when they prise it from my cold, dead fingers…

@WiteWulf This is, of course, true. But I got the PSP for about £10 a couple of years ago and sold a broken PSP2000 a few days back for £15. The sale of the broken PSP funded the screen.

Just looked on eBay for Vitas. I must admit, I hadn't realised you could get one for under £100 now! Might be worth considering in the future.
