Nobel Laureates Urge Senate to Turn Down Kennedy’s Nomination

Elevating Mr. Kennedy to secretary of H.H.S. “would put the public’s health in jeopardy,” more than 75 laureates wrote.

@luckytran Considering a very specific itch the cult is looking to scratch is payback to academia that's made it feel publicly mocked, stupid & insecure for over sixty years all that's doing is providing further motivation to put him in. They'd do it just to piss those laurates off now, if nothing else.

Folks, if you're going to make a gesture, make sure it's going to be interpreted the way your message intends.

@luckytran I notice Bob Dylan didn't sign it. What's up with that?

@luckytran That seems like an excellent way to push Republicans to confirm him.

Hope they get to decide soon.
