I spent an anxious hour at the dentist's office as they blared Christmas carols in order to drown out the sounds of dental drills and patients wailing and weeping; and to my great relief there was no Little Drummer Boy! Phew, that felt close.

I am still in.

@VisualStuart is that your least favourite? I think any of them to excess is a problem. So sorry for retail staff who have to listen to them all day. Also sleighs and snow and Santa, just no.

@VisualStuart Australians cope with amazing cognitive dissonance at this time of year. Trees with fake snow, songs about snow, sleigh rides, Santa dressed against freezing weather, and outside it's baking hot 40 degrees C, more than 100 degrees F. Fires, beaches, swimming, a month of school holidays. #summer #christmas #australia
