I was in Tesco and there were posters up, printed by Tesco, expressly asking people to buy toys in the shop and donate them there for kids in need at Christmas.

I just thought, “We could cut out the middleman here and you could just do that, Tesco. You get the toys cheaper anyway. Because this just feels like you’re profiting from children’s poverty.”

@Nickiquote I accidentally hit the "round up to donate" thing on the self service the other day in Tesco. I made a point of getting them to come cancel it off.

You're Tesco, why don't you donate some of your profits instead.
