@ikanreed @rebeccawatson I used to think that a dystopia hyper capitalist future would be "big corporate influence, corruption" like Blade Runner or Starship Troopers. I never thought it would be hinged around creation of an idiocractic personality cult. Where things like basic maths, simple literacy, basic logic, planning and intelligence become socially taboo.
