I'm confused. Why is this a good thing?

I'm absolutely exhausted with well connected people being immune from the law.

I also mean those who didn't deserve pardons from Trump, Trump himself being able to attempt a coup and get away with it, etc.

Am I the only one who actually mean't "no one should be above the law"?

That does sway me a bit. I have to admit I have not been following this issue at all.

This is going to be so difficult to argue against… from now into eternity, any time Trump or whatever POS comes next pardons someone and sane people complain, they’ll say “but Hunter” and that will be the end of it in their minds.

But this is a real pardon.

I definitely get what you mean and they don’t need an excuse to do criminal stuff but this is actually happening. He’s pardoning his son. It’s not a good look even if the facts of it make sense to sane people.

Because it gives off a real “it’s ok when we do it” vibe. Justified or not.
