@markrsmith @GottaLaff uh… forgive me if, regardless of what he did or didn’t do, I am skeptical about the rule of law going forward. “rule of law” made to rob us all blind, maybe.

@UweHalfHand @GottaLaff I will admit that my pragmatism includes a strong idealist streak.

Surely he could have broken norms in a less personally fulfilling way. Commuting death sentences. Pardoning Jack Smith.

@GottaLaff @markrsmith and I hope he will also do these things. But I’m sure his son would at best rot in prison for the entire duration of Republicans’ hold on power. At this point I’m not at all convinced that he would only rot in prison.
