The right pushed "antisemitism" accusations against Jewish college students protesting a genocide in order to render such accusations meaningless and absurd in general. They watered down the concept so they could get away with it easier themselves.

And Democrats helped them.

Democrats have been carrying water for fascists for a while now because of their perceived shared interests in protecting wealth and white supremacy.
Biden is a fanatical Zionist who cared more about helping Israel bomb Palestinian children than winning an election to "save democracy" at home. And he's hardly unique. And he's applied the same logic in the states as well. Who is all that police funding meant for, huh?

So you know, I think a big reason nobody showed up for Democrats in this election is nobody believes their bullshit anymore.

We all know who they work for.

We all know what they care about.

They tell us all the time.

Democrats need to actually be progressive again, rather than borderline center-right in economics. We keep refusing to push back against right wing insanity, thus the rise of trump.

Coupled with the lack of authentic candidates and the dnc's insistence of going further to the right and never making meaningful changes will be what dooms us.

With the results, will the DNC learn it's lesson coming into next year? We'll have to see, but if it's any indication they will likely sway further to the center-right chasing after the two moderate Republicans that still exist, abandoning their core voter base along the way.

As a trans person, this worldwide rise in far-right ideology does not currently bode well for me, but we'll all be screwed in the end if this continues.

@Dogmaster6 @gwynnion

Borderline center-right? In most civilised countries even Bill Clinton was considered well into right-wing, and the party certainly hasn't gone left since then.
