I used Compac's PC-6001 type-in EXAS BASIC compiler from I/O magazine 1982-11 (errata in 1982-12) and runtime package (in 1983-02). I added a compiled+packaged loader to make a version of the EXAS compiler that runs on mkII/6601 in Mode 2, Pages 2 with no cartridge - it uses back RAM instead. It was compiled using type-in EXAS virtual ROM, then packaged+saved as P6, plus 35 non-zero padding bytes, EXAS lower 4K+upper 4K, and some padding zero bytes. ごかん ROM works for this too
