Several years ago, The Zergling was first fed the spurious #thanksgiving story and at that point we opted to tell them age-appropriate truths each year, keep the gratitude, and pick a fictional story that didn't have a history of harm. Both my wife and I have a deep love for the Redwall books by Brian Jacques, so from that point forward we have had a fabulous Feast of Redwall at this time each year.
