I don't like the smaller, more insular #tribalism and #exclusivity of #federated #microcommunities even if they are #opensource or not, and I don't like the traditional #social #media platforms that tend to emphasize #popularity , #trends , and a focus on gaining #attention and likes.
Especially as someone with little to no social support in my life, and especially when even trying to seek a meaningful connection is seen as attention seeking in this day and age. It was never my intention to seek attention or fame. I just wanted to share stuff in the hopes of getting some kind of explicit feedback.
