The FL speaking about taking the time to enjoy the small, immediate parts of life - like lantern festivals, good food, and new clothes - regardless of the corruption and turmoil happening in the government feels incredibly timely.

OK, that was a good series. I don't usually go for revenge shows - as popular as "Marry My Husband" and "The Double" were. This felt much more like getting the gang back together to right a wrong. I was rooting for all of the pairings to make it. There were a few too many old-men-in-official-robes for me to keep track of which ones were which, but the plot bunnies didn't go too weird and the story felt mostly tight.
I think the Empress was my favorite character.
