Truthear Hexa mini review: it's amazing - _especially_ for the price.

overall, it sounds _clean_. that's the best way I can describe it.

tonally, it sounds "correct". no oddities like weird rolloffs or peaks.
it could use slightly more bass, but it's enjoyable as-is.

technically, it's very clear. great separation of instruments, tonally and spatially. while it doesn't have the soundstage wideness as an open back headphone, there's more soundstage *separation* than any audio product I own

it's currently on sale for US$68 / €68 on Amazon and US$67 / €65 on https://hangout.audio/products/truthear-hexa.

I think if you are even slightly interested in good audio, it is DEFINITELY worth a buy

Truthear Hexa

I use the Truthear Hexa (IEM, US$70) more than my Sennheiser 6XX (headphone, US$170) these days. it's such a good purchase

a "successor" to the Truthear Hexa has been released, the Truthear Pure, but it doesn't seem like an obvious improvement… I'm skeptical about the upper midrange.

Truthear will probably discontinue the Hexa soon, like how the Hola was discontinued when the Gate was released…

@mcpower truthear is trying to become the next big thing in cheap hi-fi and they seem to be succeeding
