Benji Welner@jimniels it's certainly a style, but taking a look at the basecamp example: the redesign removes the soul. it's simpler (neat grid, smaller color pallet, simplified components), but i'm not confident that the simplicity isn’t a byproduct of not being able to produce the basecamp "before" design. in all our minimalism, have we forgotten how to make the cool stuff: https://x.com/NostalgiaCity2/status/1605385696126042119
@FIGBERT yeah. i'll agree. And at the same time, i also think in our abundance — colors, type, font, images, etc. — too few things often get executed well
