When Democrats wanted to eliminate the filibuster to push through progressive legislation, he said something along the lines of, "Some day, you'll wish you still had it." That day may be next year when fascist bills like this ooze out of the House and the only way they can be stopped is by a filibuster.

@aburka Yes, and if Republicans / Mitch McConnell had a conscience, they would have convicted Trump for extorting the President of Ukraine. I'm not a huge fan of Mike Pence but at least he has a conscience, and probably wouldn't have listened to quacks during the first days of the pandemic.
