How do people here feel about Bluesky? I am currently posting to both - largely because I am curious.

Bluesky didn't make 2 key mistakes that Mastodon makes

1. Bluesky web interface is very polished. Mastodon is still clunkly, after all those years.

2. The discovery feed in Bluesky is great - something that Mastodon has never really done, which severely hamper its attractiveness.

My sense is that at the current rate, Bluesky will be what Mastodon could have been.

Thoughts?

Mein Blick in die Glaskugel: Ich glaub nicht, dass Bluesky das neue Twitter wird. Es wird kein neues Twitter geben. Die Zeit ist vorbei Ich glaub, dass es einen strukturellen Wechsel geben wird. Eine Bewegung Richtung Dezentralität. Das könnte natürlich auch mit dem Blueskyprotokoll passieren. Spannend wird sein, ob Threads jetzt die Anbindung ans Fediverse vorantreibt, jetzt wo Bluesky ein grösserer Konkurenz ist. 🍿
