NHSPCA needs help on their 1000 mouse situation. A long story short, an overwhelmed owner initially surrendered a few hundred mice, and more are currently getting rescued.

I had 2 pet mice. One was black and white named Patches and the other a yellowish blonde mouse named Mousie Tung. Patches was not very friendly and would nip at you. Mousey Tung on the other hand was and liked to be in my pocket where she would sleep or lie in my hand and have her belly rubbed.
Mom hated them but somehow became their keepers after I was drafted. So I would get letters telling me bits about them at times. And I think she was sad when they passed.
