Just watched the CSS Day 2024 talk by @matthiasott - Highly recommended for every frontend developer and designer as well. Bridge the gap, work together.

@martinwolf
yo, but we can't bridge the gap without teleporters. I mean, meanwhile _at the same time_ and _in the same Amsterdam_ some kilometers away and proudly _not_ sponsored by google there was another awesome talk

@matthiasott :)

Esteemed #Fediverse 💖 all the nice videos from #PubConf24 popped up in the peertube channel. Our Talk on the Why and How of #ActivityPub is https://video.publicspaces.net/w/9USsJ37cHVy4tY9Pn7DX2X An hour is incredible short, we should maybe demo the protocol on a large table rather in an expo space next year (?) You can view all videos at the channell page :digitalcourage: https://video.publicspaces.net/c/pubconf/videos #publicspaces

@sl007 @matthiasott I'm pretty sure we can bridge the gap between developers and designers without teleporters. But I'm also quite sure that's not at all what you want to talk about. 😄 But nice attempt at self promotion.
@martinwolf
Hm ?
The talk was voluntary for my W3C work, at Public Spaces and about Elmo creating „the end of humanity“.
Personally, I would not call this "self-promoting".
It was just the reason that I could not join
@matthiasott and vice-versa because, as said, it took place in the same city but also at the same time.
@sl007 @matthiasott Okay, I just didn't get the link between the Design<->Dev talk and the end-of-humanity talk. But now I at least get the reference of the teleporter. 😄 Sorry!
