one of the big problems with computers until after the 2020s was that people used them and could do things. for example. this computer has a kind of TV on it, which was called a monitor. many computers also produced sounds and had a special piano in front which let you type in words, letter by letter, or speak your orders to the computer, as if it was somehow beneath you. in these early days, a lot of people put serious effort into controlling the things their computer did, for some reason.
