Psalms always annoyed the heck out of me. Not sure what it says about me that I find some comfort in them now.
Watched The Chosen episode in which Rama dies yesterday. I gotta say, this plot point seemed incredibly contrived. The whole scene seemed silly. If they wanted to kill her off, there would have been plausible ways to do it.

We have 2 days to gather $567.83 or else the sole working vehicle for two families will be repossessed. This will make it impossible for my son in law to work and support the new baby that will be arriving this month, and will limit me to relatively scarce remote-only positions for my job hunt. I bought "Sea of Stars" the other day. It's a Chronotrigger-inspired JRPG-style game that looks quite pretty. I hope it'll turn out to be actually interesting, as opposed to Chronotrigger itself!
I recently found out that I'm apparently "our best dad of the whole world". Semantically, this isn't saying anything, obviously, but emotionally this says more than enough.
Pet Peeve #317: Blog posts that advertise a "deep dive" into an involved topic (Networking and CNI plugins for Kubernetes in this instance) and then evolve into the blandest, most generic collection of words imaginable. Character count of 3317. This is just such a waste of time.
