ZephyTrying to watch Abbott Elementary, and it's crazy to me that teachers just walk out of their classes and leave their grade 1 and 2 students without an adult for any amount of time. Do American schools not have intercom systems?

@luvstiger Sure, but the solution isn't just walking out of class to go have a several minute long meeting while 6 and 7 year olds are left unsupervised...

@lilDrakon @zephy yeah it's pretty rough especially when you have a higher teacher student ratio 30:1, 20:1 or a combo kinder/1st grade in one room. There really is no choice but to open an adjacent classroom so they can supervise by sound. (Why the quiet rule is so important.)
