Bluesky has the same sort of issues. Merge the top two "header" rows and gain back some space!

@mabster I think it’s called “advanced web interface” although your instance may vary
@abstractcode Yeah if I enable the "advanced web interface" then it's more or less unusable in this narrow view. I want it to be a sidebar so the default view is good, except for the waste of space in the header.
