I picked up a rare (for the UK), early 80's microcomputer today.

Hats off to anyone who can guess what it is by the picture. There should be enough clues 😉.

I have no idea if it works. I need to do some research before powering the thing up!

It's a 'Micro-Professor II (MPF-II)' by Multitech (A Taiwanese firm that later became ACER).
@roguesoul ah of course, if I look closer I see what looks like Chinese chars and a mortar board hat. I remember Multitech apple clones, they were relatively common in South Africa. If I recall correctly they had a proper track zero detector on the floppy drives so didn't go "grr thunk" like apple drives. ( Or am I thinking of Tatung? ) 🤔
