Jenny@tickle_b @GottaLaff my understanding is that Pres-Elect Shitface is pressuring repubs to put Congress into recess, and he will make “recess appointments” (which bypass congressional confirmation). SCOTUS tried to put some guardrails on that years ago so it wouldn’t be misused, but we all understand now that those rules only apply to Dems, and not repubs. So Shitface will do it with no constraints or pushback. (Please pardon my language, it helps me cope)

First, I'm going to start with a disclaimer that I don't know if Trump is either smart enough or mentally competent enough to think to do any of the following.
If I were Trump, here's what I'd do:
1. Treat 'em mean and keep 'em keen: I'd keep the pressure up to ensure Congressional Republicans were scared shitless to make a move against me. I'd also keep throwing them enough bones to keep them coming back for more goodies. ↓

2. Use every trick to work around Congress: I'd use recess appointments processes, I would take executive action and back-channel promises and bennies so Johnson, et al, would say publicly it's because such-and-such needed to be done, and then blame it on Democrats, knowing full well Fox News, Newsmax, Epoch Times, etc. will tell their viewers that with a straight face, knowing full well their idiot viewers will eat that shit up.
3. Encourage Repubs to use more and more extreme ↓
@GottaLaff rhetoric to threaten and endanger Democrats, and do the same myself. Again, Republican voters will pretty much believe or at least go along with anything the Orange Cheeto says.
4. Replace everyone in DOJ and the Armed Forces with loyalist sycophants. Fire anyone I can who won't play ball, and help foster an environment of extreme toxicity to get rid of anyone whom I cannot, for whatever reason, fire myself.
5. Carry through on those deportation and arrest threats I made, ↓
@GottaLaff and then continue to scapegoat Democrats for any perceived lapses.
6. Exploit every opportunity, such as future school shootings, mass shootings, wrongful incarcerations, riots, etc. and blame them on Dems, immigrants, LGBTQ, etc.
7. Bog down the Dem SCOTUS justices in so much vitriol and scandal they are forced into resigning, then replace them.
8. At all times, ensure anything I do is declared an official duty or an official act, thereby ensuring I'm immune from prosecution. âť–

Frank Henninger@GottaLaff So he resigned from the current Congress. Didn't he just get reelected? So therefore he could see that the Senate won't consent and just retake his seat in new Congress.
