@SmudgeTheInsultCat

are there any sources that could backup that claim?

I know that many countries had done such kind of "science" - but it's always good to have valid sources.

Edit:

Some background of the origin:

1960s KGB Experiments Left Subjects 'Brainwashed' After 2 Months of 'Fear Messages'?

Some social media users suggested the claim originated from Yuri Bezmenov, a Soviet defector.

@SmudgeTheInsultCat So, to protect your sanity TURN OFF THE FUCKING NEWS!!!
@SmudgeTheInsultCat feels like more people would be worried about global warming if this worked.
@SmudgeTheInsultCat western countries in a nutshell...

@SmudgeTheInsultCat While quite plausible, with the possibility that such experiments actually were conducted, the only source to this claim is this very flimsy piece of paper with the almost entirely blueish scribbled underscored text, or references to this very photograph of piece of paper.

‼️ So please, take it for what it is: a NOT confirmed reference to a plausible but unconfirmed myth! ‼️

@SmudgeTheInsultCat P.S.: The worst part of this, what I am calling urban legend, is the bold mention of those absolutely INFAMOUS "two months or less".
The absolute absence of confirmation of this part of the claim is IMNSHO* totally not acceptable and should make stop people to spread this rumour.

(Yes, IMNSHO sometimes I can be an arrogant jerk! 😂 )
