Arguably doesn't even need to amend it. My reading of the SCOTUS decision in the Colorado ballot case is that only Congress could move to bar him from taking office. States are powerless to keep him off the ballot, 22nd amendment or not

Why is anyone still repeating anything Trey Gowdy says? Honestly he is a powerless talking head at best at this point. Blindly reporting this kind of BS is just another way to incite fear, redirect focus, and retraumatize everyone. Have we learned nothing at all about MAGA operatives over the past 8 years?!?!?!?

If we are going to fight back this type of unthinking repetition of hot takes from untrusted brokers and known liars has got to stop.

@GottaLaff Hard disagree. This is how they make us afraid and cower to their fascist agenda. Everyone knows how these talking heads think. Everyone knows they lie. Nothing good comes from allowing them to consume all the air in the room.
This way of thinking is how we got here. I ask that you think about that perspective as a choice in the way you process and relay information moving forward, instead of assuming everything said should be repeated.

I responded to you because I thought as a woman you could help me understand why none of the responses related to my concerns. I read her posts and appreciate them too. I happen to be a nice human also. I thought the topic could be discussed, but now know there is no room for that here, just not sure why?

The comments just keep coming from her followers, a group I thought I was aligned with.
Her response and blocking me has really shaken me.
I will leave Mastadon today because I have never had this experience here before and I can’t process anymore mean spirited demeaning comments coming my way.

Wow... here's what that account posted after I blocked her. That's what she got from my post sounding an alarm:
