@davidaugust I disagree with this. I think people are saying this because we really have no other choice. We will resist as much as we can, but we should try to regroup in case they don't kill democracy.

If they do, it'll end in bloodshed anyway, so we might as well try to avoid bloodshed while we can.

@manvsxerox no, the post is suggesting that planning for elections that are now in doubt is putting the cart before the horse.

Campaigning for votes is not as important right now as campaigning for their to be elections.

The post is alerting people so far unaware or in denial that elections are in peril. The post is suggesting people’s denial is functionally surrendering in advance, and let’s not do that.

@davidaugust with that we are in agreement, however, if we spend all the time just focusing on there being elections we will then proceed to lose the elections (see what just happened). It's a balancing act. And it's going to suck ass.
