Chancerubbage@flargh Like early Prius design I think both shared a design aesthetic that seemed to be, “Hey, what if we took this car shape and raised its spoiler to the middle of the rear window by stretching in some graphics program, so that the spoiler blocked the rear view mirror instead?
@Chancerubbage I've said for years the tail of the 4th gen Prius looks like a rendering error.

I honestly don’t know how much the Prius design may have improved, and how much I have merely become used to how bad it has been.
I can maybe excuse an argument that it is aerodynamically necessary to mean MPG or EV range, but otherwise it’s wackadoo.
