Eulogy for the James Joyce's MonoMyth

Joseph Campbell worked very hard writing his books and lectures.Campbell speaks of imperfections in #PowerOfMyth interviews with Bill Moyers, and Campbell was not perfect, nor is life. But Campbell affirmed all the religions, despite some who may interpret his work otherwise. At age 82 he said Buddhism was the most compatible with world-wide, but really something new would have to come along.

I do not fault Campbell for not working hard enough. He worked incredibly hard. But I think Power of Myth should have been made public domain, Jean Erdman's FInnegans Wake dance should have been given an episode, and I wish Campbell had brought in Marshall McLuhan's works on Finnegans Wake, including 1968 War and Peace in Global Village. But Campbell worked so hard already,.. I think he punted into the future hoping Star Wars would connect deeper than it did.

I dream that a hundred Malala leaders would have come out of Sarah Lawrence college using Jean Erdman dance of FInnegans Wake as a basis for Marshall McLuhan media ecology and competition in news would be less of a thing and understanding more.

I'm hearrtbroken that the religions of the world did not come together and hate left behind in history. That love and compassion for all people on Earth reading of religions did not come to be by now. That Clergy would help us love all, help all.

#RoundSparrowToDo I probably can't finish or edit what I've written here, a struggle I have had.

What Campbell said in 1986 about religion as software apps, signal systems. Russia Surkov in 2011 applied the idea pretty well, demonstrated.

I guess now with machine learning emerging in 2024 - all media metaphors, including religions, become lead by that agent.

I'm not able to write.
