People want simple answers to complex problems. The best leaders are able to execute complex solutions while making them sound and appear simple.

The worst leaders simply claim to have simple solutions when they barely understand the problem, let alone how to craft a solution.

Rather than "best"—that sounds like "most well-liked."

The best leaders are candid about what they do and how they do it. No matter how (probably distastefully) complex those things are.

To put it another way, one of the most important characteristics of a great leader is: guiding people away from wanting simple answers.

@carnage4life that 2nd one sounds easier. What’s the difference in pay?
@carnage4life I would say that it is impossible. You have to lie. But half of us don't want our leaders to lie or promise BS.
This is cheap excuse for voters just not engaging because they have been safe guarded from results of bad choices for decades.
