Don't forget, in 2016 Hillary Clinton was the most disliked of all the possible Democratic candidates. She had a long history of people knowing her and disliking her. Also, Trump was the shiny new thing at that point and largely unknown as to how he would be as president. This time everyone knows *exactly* how he’ll be and who he is.
