I'm a little creeped out by the photos and #QSL cards with older #white men surrounded by little brown #african or #asian children. <sigh> I can hear my mother's voice asking in my head "Where are their parents?" and "Why aren't they in school?"
I guess the equivalent would be me showing up at a poor, rural, white community with 5 other well-to-do, privileged, #African, #AfricanAmerican, or #carribean, #hamradio operators trying to take pictures with poor white children...see how creepy that sounds? That creepiness is what I feel looking at those #dxposition photos.
