#PodcastHelp hi all, I have four files that I wish to turn into one with chapter markers in MP3 format. I also want players like Winamp and other players to recognize the chapters. What sort of tool, paid or otherwise, is good for this kind of editing? Thanks in advance for any help. Note, I know you can do this with Auphonic, and I'm trying to figure out how to do that. Anyway, any suggestions definitely welcomed. Oh, and the process must be accessible with the screen reader. again, thanks.
@douglas2005 Get me the files, get me the markers of time you wish to have and I will generate this for you. If it works I will give you the code. It worked for the work we did for the forum...
@JeffBishop Hi Jeff, I will email you a dropbox link to a zip folder that will contain all of the files and what I'd like each of them to be called with the marker. I think that's what you're asking me for. Thanks. oh, and the final file name will be shown in my document as well. is that what you're asking me for, or are you asking me for one file with time markers for each thing?
@JeffBishop Jeff, thanks. I got your email and I replied. Again, thanks for your help.
@douglas2005 Hey, if you figure this out lmk, I too would like to know this, hell I'd like a tool that can create podcast chapters
@startrek2025 I think there is some complex way to do it with MP3 tag, but I'm not sure and I still have to learn about it if it really does exist. We'll keep you posted on what I find out. It's a manual process, so if you're looking for something more automated, I don't think that's it.
@douglas2005 Please do, I'm intrigued. Wonder how that would work in mp3 tag anyway, use that program lots
@startrek2025 Looks like I misspoke. MP3Tag can't create chapters in a large file.
