Steve RiddleYikes I nearly missed #tunetuesday on #mismatchmusic, tunes where music and lyrics are at odds in tone or emotion.
A few protest songs came up, such as Country Joe and the Fish "Feel-Like-I'm-Fixing-To-Die Rag", but I ended closer to home with the Undertones.
It's Gonna Happen, pure pop joyfulness which happens to be about hunger strikes in Northern Ireland circa 1981. Definitely one of those where you need to check the lyrics.
