Lulu HartgenSo, my gorgeous Evo player has arrived and I'm in the process of getting it all set up as I want it and @brian_hartgen is helping me. It really is a lovely, neat thing with great sound quality for its size, way better than the stream. So, as everything that's treasured in our house has a name from the Wizarding World, I'm going to call him Newt, after Newt Skamander who is one of my favorite characters outside the Harry Potter series. The real Newt loves animals, and I have enough animal books to keep this Newt happy I think!

@lulu_bear @brian_hartgen I'm glad you like it and hope you continue to. I was actually very disappointed with its inability to play audio files at faster speeds, but it seemed like a neat little player in many other respects.
@ShortStamp @lulu_bear I've been using this player for months. Trust me. If it couldn't play books at faster speeds, it would have gone straight back because that is how I read my books all the time.
@brian_hartgen @lulu_bear maybe it depends on the file type because I had very little success making that work to my satisfaction. I'm glad it works for you though.
@ShortStamp @brian_hartgen I promise, it can be speeded up. I never speed mien up, but @brian_hartgen couldn't have it if it couldn't do that.
@lulu_bear @brian_hartgen Oh I definitely believe you. Like I said, I think it's probably down to file types. I do like the speaker on it, though. It's a nice player.
@lulu_bear @brian_hartgen I don't know if I've ever heard of that player before. Also, I love Newt Scammander. Especially because he's played by Eddie Redmane.
