It amazes me that essentially NONE of the news articles that say anything about Trump's fascist plans also note key context:

The Supreme Court wrote a new amendment to the Constitution that gives him a get-out-of-jail-free card for the crimes he's planning to commit.

Zero accountability for crimes against democracy, adversaries, immigrants, and so much more -- not to mention even more rampant corruption than the unparalleled amount he engaged in the first time around.

Old news, I guess...

@dangillmor ...uuuuh... "new amendment to the Constitution"? Citation needed. They made a ruling, which is, ostensibly, an interpretation of the Constitution. It's bad and it's wrong, but it can, in principle, be overturned. There is a process for amending the Constitution (described in the Constitution). It it long, tedious, and involved. It doesn't involve the Supreme Court.
