RaffordNow that I'm back to playing Pioneer, WOTC decides to remove the format from RCQs in favor of Standard. I'm not sure that will kill the format like I've seen other people say but it's definitely bad news.

The only thing keeping it up was that people had to play it in organized play. If they ever want to bring it back they can just force grinders to play it again.

@BoofTroupe That unfortunately is true. A lot of people played it just because it was "mandatory" if they wanted to play competitive Magic. But as someone who really likes the format and wants to see it thrive, it is sad to see how it loses relevance.
