The trouble with voting for either genocidal candidate/party is you have voted for genocide and that will always remain a compromise that you have chosen to make. If you’re unable to justify supporting the starvation, burning, maiming or slaughter etc of innocent humans the only way you can avoid complicity is by abstaining or voting for a candidate who doesn’t support genocide.
@jeremy_pm @GottaLaff but those candidates aren't genuine - they can't win & are funded by ppl wanting one of the parties to win so act as spoilers
There is also a clear choice between two, one backhands genocide of Palestinians due to who they choose to sleep with for money, bad but other actively supports genocides for money & anyone that doesn't fit their bill - opponents & marginalised at home, Ukranians, Palestinians, anyone else in the region, worse whole world through climate inaction
I am speaking about the politics of your soul. I understand the political ramifications of abstaining or supporting a third party but committing to what is morally right has or never will be an easy decision.
If I was an American worried about Trump I would be asking the Democrats why they are prioritising funding and supporting the war crimes and colonial genocide of Israel over the welfare of US citizens.
