"One of the most groundbreaking animated films about nature since Bambi" (Indiewire)

Today, at #CineEco I've watched "Flow" (2024), a Latvian animated film done in @Blender. The film won the Audience Award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival #AIAFF and the Grand Prize at the Ottawa International Animation Festival.

Another stellar example of what level of professional results you can achieve with today's #opensource and #LibreGraphics tools. #blender

Flow (2024)

A solitary cat, displaced by a great flood, finds refuge on a boat with various species and must navigate the challenges of adapting to a transformed world together.

@sustainrelease when is this out and where can you stream it? We don't go to movie theatres anymore due to COVID but I would pay to see this.

Hello @hfinyow I don't think it is streaming yet. It is still scheduled for a few festivals this year. I would expect it available early next year for screening (but I don't have insights). Both #Letterboxd and #JustWatch are quite reliable resources to find out when and where it will become available. (I would not be surprised if it released on #Mubi)
