I've been listening to NanBuShiki's (South Japan Style's) second CD and remembering their festival performances. The remind me of reading how Ozomatli is the most energetic live band and of poetic aspects of Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi... These photos (other than the CD cover shots) are from Jinta Terabaru's home festival during the hottest part of the hot hot summer. The CD covers are included to see a desinger's (artist's?) rendition of the huge puppets that accompany the music during events.

Attached: 4 images 🧵 I love this band. For me they pull together the best things about Ozomatli and Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi. Like OZO they are a tremendous energy with live acts. Like Nagabuchi they are from Kagoshima (abouts) and tweak my poetry organs. NanBuShiki (Southern Place Style). I put two songs from this 2nd CD on Funkwhaile. 1. HaraHeriHo : The Hungry Song ハラヘリホ 2. DonDokoSho: Hiragana title Macka-Chin Remix. Buy the CD, organize a tour? https://audio.liberta.vip/library/albums/9244 #どんどこしょ #ドンドショ #南部式 #ごったん #ゴッタン @bsmall2@mstdn.jp
